Has pursued MS (By Research) under the faculty of Technology with the major of Bioinformatics in Anna University, Chennai. His research work mainly consisted of developing a tool (python) to predict MHC class II peptide binding in Alzheimer’s disease. He has experience working on various omics data analysis such as Genomics, Metagenomics and Transcriptomics. He has worked as a Project Assistant-II in Aravind Medical Research Foundation. During my research term he has worked on the proteomics of fungal keratitis and diabetic retinopathy, which includes protein profiling, protein quantitation (Selected Reaction Monitoring assay, label free quantification). He is currently working as a research associate at Grow research laboratory, Narayana Nethralaya.
Research expertise- Multi-OMICS data analysis, Bioinformatics tool development, NGS pipeline development, statistical analysis, and LC-MS based proteomics.
Research Interest - Heterogeneity of disease microenvironment is critical for the development of better therapeutics. Heterogeneity exits from molecular level to organism level. The multi-OMICS approach is one of the leading thrust research areas which helps in understanding the microenvironment of diseases. It also paves the way to develop Immunotherapy for genetic disorders. My research interest is to imply Multi-OMICS approach in ocular diseases to find the heterogeneity of microenvironment and to develop the personalized immunotherapy with the aid of preliminary in-silico predictions.
