Has completed Master of Science in Biochemistry and Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, Biotechnology and Microbiology from University of Mysore. Worked as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under UGC-UPE (University with potential for excellence) project at university of Mysore. Has research experience in working with plant based products for human disorders such as Cancer, Diabetes and Chronic kidney disease. He is currently an Associate Researcher at Repair & Regeneration at Ophthalmic Workstation (GROW) Research Laboratory, Narayana Nethralaya. His research areas spans around Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Cell Biology, Microbiology, and Cancer Immunotherapy.
Molecular signaling in ocular diseases, CRISPR-cas9 gene editing system for genetic disorders, CAR-T cell therapy and Cancer Immunotherapy, identifying Novel small molecule drug targets for keratoconus.
